Driving Board Excellence: The Power of the OECD Principles
Participation in this course meets the recommended best practices for continuing directors education prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The OECD Principles Forum aims to discuss the recent updates to two foundational global standards in corporate governance, namely, the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance (2023) and the OECD Guidelines on Corporate Governance of State-Owned Enterprises (2024). These revised frameworks emphasize disclosure and transparency, sustainability, and resilience, while reinforcing the state's role as a professional and accountable owner of enterprises.
Through expert presentations and panel discussions, the forum will explore the impact of the new Principles and Guidelines for both private and state-owned enterprises. It will also highlight how these updates can support better governance practices, ensure level playing fields, and promote long-term value creation in the public interest.
Participants will gain insights on how to align national governance frameworks with these global standards and engage in meaningful dialogue on their implementation across sectors.
