Mr. Romeo Fernando Aquino, Jr., FICD
Mr. Jojo Aquino is an ICD Fellow active in the Technology Governance Committee. He was enterprise transformation program manager, business technology lead, head of IT, senior technology outsourcing consultant (in the Phils, HKG, US), in banking , insurance, public health insurance. He is a lecturer in risk and technology/AI governance sessions. He has a master's degree in economics from UPenn and is a Project Management Professional.

Dr. Ramon Segismundo, FICD
Dr. Ramon B. Segismundo is a leadership coach and management adviser to top corporation and MSMEs, senior management expert with a doctorate in business administration from Singapore Management University, judicial reform advocate and consultant to the Philippine Supreme Court, a faculty with the Graduate Program of the De La Salle College of Business teaching, Strategic Management and International Management, and a Stanford University Distinguished Careers Fellow with Sustainability Leadership and Executive Longevity and Wellness as areas of focus. Backed by many decades of strategic human resources management experience in International and Asia Pacific, he is passionate about corporate governance specializing in succession planning, leadership development, performance based remuneration and strategic human resources policies and programs that drives organizational performance and unleashes the potential of a company’s human capital.

Mr. Frank Numann, FICD
Mr. Frank Numann is a retired Ethics and Compliance Vice President of Shell plc (formerly Royal Dutch Shell), where he led and implemented global ethics and compliance programs across 40 countries. A recognized governance professional, he has been a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors (FICD) since 2014 and previously served as Trustee and Vice President of its Thought Leadership Council, contributing to advancing corporate governance standards and thought leadership in the Philippines.

Mr. Carmelo Alcala, FICD
Mr. Carmelo Alcala has more than 35 years in the IT, Audit, Risk, and Compliance workspace. He is a Director for MIS, Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit and Data Protection Officer for Visaya KPO Corp. At the same time, he has independent directorships in 5 SEC-registered companies. He is also the Vice Chairperson of ICD’s Technology Governance Committee. An ICD Teaching Fellow on CG, Audit and Risk, IT Governance, Digital Transformation, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Sustainability Development. He is also an ESG-Certified Board Director, an APMG-certified Global Trainer on IS Audit, Data Protection, and AI Audit, and an AI Auditor.

Mr. Victor Andres Manhit, MICD
Mr. Victor Andres “Dindo” C. Manhit is the Founder and CEO of The Stratbase Group and President of the Stratbase Institute for Strategic and International Studies, where he has provided high-level strategic analysis on global and domestic issues since 2004. A seasoned public policy analyst, he advises the private sector and diplomatic community on the intersection of business, government, and geopolitics, offering data-driven and forward-looking insights on regulatory, legislative, and investment landscapes. Concurrently, he serves as Philippine Country Head of BowerGroupAsia and was formerly Chair and Associate Professor of the Political Science Department at De La Salle University. He has authored numerous works on governance, political reform, and international relations, and regularly contributes to leading publications such as Philippine Daily Inquirer and BusinessWorld.
He has held key roles across government, academia, and civil society, including serving in the Department of Education, Culture and Sports and the Philippine Senate, where he worked closely with Edgardo J. Angara. He is currently a member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Multi-Sector Governance Council, chairing its Cybersecurity Committee, and remains active in civil society as Lead Convenor of Democracy Watch Philippines and Convenor of Philippine Business for Environmental Stewardship. Internationally, he serves in advisory roles with organizations such as We Protect our Seas and European Values Center for Security Policy, and is affiliated with Asia Society Philippines and the ASEAN Regional Forum Experts and Eminent Persons. He is also a member of the Foundation for Economic Freedom, Management Association of the Philippines, and the Institute of Corporate Directors. He holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Philippine Studies from the University of the Philippines.

Ms. Imelda Tiongson, FICD
Ms. Ida Tiongson is a Governance and Financial Technology advocate with over two decades of experience in banking and corporate leadership. She began her career in senior roles at National Australia Bank and Philippine National Bank, before joining ING Group, where she led OPAL Portfolio Investments (SPV-AMC) Inc. and built a reputation for successfully turning around multi-billion peso businesses. Her expertise spans governance, risk, audit, financial technology, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence. She currently serves as a Board Trustee and former Vice Chairperson of the Institute of Corporate Directors, and holds board roles as Independent Director at the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation, Pru Life UK Philippines, and RASLAG Corp.. She is also a Teaching Fellow at ICD and Lecturer at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
Beyond her corporate roles, Ms. Tiongson is actively involved in shaping governance, digital finance, and policy across the Philippines and the ASEAN region. She has held leadership and advisory positions with organizations such as the Management Association of the Philippines, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, and has contributed to key legislative and regulatory initiatives, including the Revised Corporation Code and financial reform frameworks. A recognized thought leader in AI and fintech, she has completed executive programs with institutions such as Microsoft and Asian Institute of Management. Her contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including the 2025 UN SDG Award, Campaign Asia’s 2023 Fintech Global Woman Leader of the Year, and multiple recognitions for women’s leadership and influence in technology and finance. She holds a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from RMIT University.
