This session focuses on a popular topic but presents it uniquely. Specifically, it approaches the topic of sustainable financing (once an occasional event but now on the verge of the mainstream of corporate finance capital-raising solutions) from the perspective of board members. In essence, it is envisaged that attendees, who are targeted to be current or aspiring board members of corporations or senior management, will be exposed to this topic from the perspective of what they need to know in order to make informed decisions that affect their ability to govern. While the course is not intended to address all the issues germane to this topic, it seeks to raise awareness as to what questions need to be addressed by project sponsors or financial advisers.
