As sustainability disclosure requirements in the Philippines continue to evolve, Boards are increasingly expected to oversee sustainability-related risks and opportunities with the same rigor applied to financial reporting. With the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) adopting revised sustainability reporting requirements aligned with IFRS S1 and IFRS S2, corporate directors play a critical role in ensuring organizations are prepared for this transition.
