Job Description
As CG Analyst of ICD, the candidate will have a key role in examining the corporate governance performance of companies and/or sectors using a quantitative tool such as a corporate governance scorecard and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders.
Below are the specific roles and responsibilities of the CG Analyst:
• Assist in the planning and execution of corporate governance evaluation of identified sectors.
• Evaluating the corporate governance performance of assigned companies using the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) for Publicly Listed Companies (PLCs) and Corporate Governance Scorecard (CGS) for Insurance Companies (InsCos).
• Assist in checking the quality of ACGS/CGS assessments and written reports conducted by project-based assessors and reports associates.
• Prepare necessary reports and provide feedback to companies and regulators on the evaluation.
• Assist in preparing the database of all the sectors covered by corporate governance assessments.
• Assist in the engagement of different stakeholders, e.g., regulators, companies, and
other CG advocate groups.
• Assist in the management of ICD Program Committees being supported by the team.
• Support in the preparation and facilitation of all corporate governance events and
activities of the Institute.
• Performs other duties and/or special projects that may be assigned to you by your
immediate superior from time to time in fulfilling the department’s mandate and the
realization of the Institute’s vision.
Notes:
• ICD is currently a hybrid work model that supports a blend of in-office and remote work arrangement. Employees are allowed to work remotely but may be required to attend to some business in-person.
• At some point, ICD will resume on-site events and courses.
• Some engagements are held beyond regular working hours. Employees must be able to work without constraints during these periods. This role will require coordination and support with various ICD units; thus, teamwork is highly valued.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree holder of any related, but not limited to Research, Business Management, and or Economics.
Prior experience working in research or data analysis is an advantage.
Preferably with background and/or training on project management.
Open to individuals with relevant work experience in auditing.
