Mr. Ramon R. del Rosario Jr. Named as 2026 ICD Honorary Fellow

The Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) is proud to announce Mr. Ramon R. del Rosario Jr. as the 2026 ICD Honorary Fellow Awardee.

Across more than five decades of distinguished service in government, business, and civil society, Mr. del Rosario has exemplified ethical leadership, responsible stewardship, and a steadfast commitment to the public good.

As Secretary of Finance, he contributed to national economic governance; at PHINMA Corporation, he championed inclusive business models that have expanded access to affordable tertiary education for approximately 177,000 underserved students; and as Co-Convener of the Roundtable for Inclusive Development (RFID), he has advanced dialogue and action toward more inclusive growth.

His leadership in corporate governance extends across some of the country’s most respected institutions, including Ayala Corporation, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), and Ayala Land, while his commitment to broadening public access to culture was reflected in his leadership in establishing free admission at the National Museum of the Philippines.

Beyond the boardroom, Mr. del Rosario has helped institutionalize corporate integrity as Founding Chairman of the Integrity Initiative, mobilizing more than 3,000 companies to sign the Integrity Pledge. As Chair of Philippine Business for Education (PBEd), he has likewise championed education reform and the role of business in strengthening the country’s educational system. His conviction that business can be a force for the common good was recognized with the first global Business as a Noble Vocation Award conferred by UNIAPAC in 2018 and the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice in 2024.

The formal conferment of Mr. Ramon R. del Rosario Jr. as the 2026 ICD Honorary Fellow will take place during the ICD Annual General Membership Meeting on October 14, 2026.
