A Resounding Success: 2023 ICD Invitational Golf Tournament

On the 11th of August 2023, ICD held its 3rd ICD Invitational Golf Tournament in honor of Ambassador Cesar Bautista at the Manila Golf and Country Club. With the ardent support of generous sponsors, the tournament was able to reach its goal of raising funds to enhance ICD's Research and Development capabilities.
This year, we were able to realize a net income of ₱ 558,214 after VAT, which exceeded last year’s performance by ₱ 126,711. All the proceeds will be dedicated toward boosting our institute's research best corporate governance practices.
Our heartfelt gratitude to the spirited members and guests who joined this annual event. We took pride in hosting 58 participants, consisting of 15 ICD members and 43 guests. The participants expressed their appreciation of the venue, giveaways, prizes, food, drinks and entertainment. Ms. Anna Ma. Margarita B. Dy, Ambassador Bautista's daughter, graced the occasion. She expressed her gratitude to ICD for continuing to hold the annual event in honor of her father’s contribution to the association.

The awarding program was hosted by Golf Committee member, Ms. Racquel Cagurangan. Atty. Pete Maniego, Jr., Chair of the Golf Committee, opened the awarding ceremony by thanking all the ICD members, sponsors, and guests for their support and giving a brief background about the event.

Nobody went home empty handed. Each participant received giveaways plus a minor raffle prize. Fortunate participants walked away with major raffle prizes: high-end pistol, Apple watch series 8 sport band, Samsung Tab, JBL soundbar, and cash prizes. The savory and abundant cuisine prepared by Manila Golf was a shared delight, further complemented by the thoughtful provision of snacks and beverages from Contemporain Foods and San Miguel, ensuring a truly satisfying experience for all.
